I have been with Glymm since December 2012, so this is my second bag. Since joining the price has increased from $12/month to $15/month with a promise of an overall improved “beauty experience” a little vague, but we will get to see what that means in February when the price increase is initiated.
Luckily my wonderful husband purchased this subscription for me as a Christmas gift and was able to get a locked price of $10/month and included a nail polish with every bag in addition to the regular samples. The promo code that was used to get the polish was POLISHMEUP. So far I’m thrilled that I was able to take advantage of this promotion since the two polishes received to date have been pretty nice. That being said they always make the bag feel worth it as the samples that were received this month seemed less than generous.
Here’s what came in my beauty bag this month:
– La Fresh – 2 x Facial Cleansing Wipes
I’m excited to try these out, I like that their packaging makes them easy to toss in my purse and have on hand whenever needed.
Estimated Value: $2.00
– Lash M – Double Trouble Mascara Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara
This sample was TINY with a mini capital T. The pamphlet that came with our samples claim that the mascara can be used about 14 times, but i’m skeptical. My mascara was a bit dried out and I suspect that i would be lucky to get four uses (if that!) out of this. I was able to try it out and took a picture to show off the results. It’s okay, just ok. Maybe it would have been better if the sample had more product for the brush or was “Fresher”. I’m curious to see how it compares to the real deal.
Estimated Value: ???
– 360 SkinCare – DMAE Lavender Mint Firming Serum (.20 oz 0r 6ml)
From what I understand this is an anti wrinkle eye cream. It has a nice scent, and although the sample size appears small, it’s decent for an eye cream sample. my only small concern is that the scent might bother my eyes.
Estimated Value: $6.50
– Coolway Boost Repair Serum (30 ml)
Okay, so I read the directions on this “serum” and as it turns out it is a Conditioner. You’re suppose to leave it in for three minutes and rinse out. I’m looking forward to trying this out, although I don’t usually use cool settings when styling my hair. Results are probably best when used with the Coolway system.
Estimated Value: $5.00
Bonus polish – Sheswai Lacquer in Totally
Estimated Value: $12.00
Total Estimated Value: $13.50
Total Estimated Value with bonus polish: $25.50
So there you have it!
